The Belgian mediacampaign “Toch wel technisch!” is a joint initiative by different educational institutions. The campaign focuses on the misconceptions that still exist regarding a technical education, e.g. “First I’ll start with a mainstream study, and if that doesn’t work I’ll drop down to the technical training…”
Technologically orientated studies, that are aimed to get students to go into higher education, require a lot more knowledge, insight, skills and ingenuity than some people think. And it’s not just for boys, girls are sure to find a subject that suits them too!
Baltimore Aircoil International nv supports this campaign and has put up posters and stickers promoting this message around the BAC office, plant and even on some company cars.
